Intended purpose
Dental burnisher is intended for use by dentists to smooth and adapt the surface of plastic restorative materials within prepared dental cavities to improve marginal adaptation and surface finish during dental restorative procedures. The smooth working tip compresses and adapts the soft restorative material to the cavity walls and margins. The device is reusable and requires validated decontamination and sterilisation between uses.
